Sydney’s Interview

1. Was there any payback from the vampire community after taking down the evil vamps that changed humans without permission?

Now that vampires are all law-afied, changing humans without a license is pretty frowned upon. I mean, it still happens. Don?t get me wrong. You can only civilize the Undead so much. I am pretty much accepted except I do catch crap for being friends with the gals over at Psi Phi House. A lot of bigotry still around for half-bloods even though they kind of saved the world. Guess some things take longer to change.

2. Are you still modeling?

First of all, modeling is hard work. I mean, I thought it would be a breeze and all because the whole idea of being photographed wearing pretty clothes just sounds like a dream job. Uh, no. On one job they had me in a formal prom dress in the idle of a dairy farm with the hem pulled up practically over my head while wearing those big, rubber boots so I wouldn’t sink into all the cow manure. Does that sound glamorous to you? Blech. Nope, I am way over the modeling thing. I’m studying art at PSU and have met other vampires just like me. And, I have a running comic in the school newspaper so life, or lack thereof, is pretty good right now.

3. What do you think of your author, Serena Robar? Is there anything you’d like to say to her about your experience?

I’d have to say I wasn’t thrilled to be turned into a blood-sucking freak. However, Serena made Carl way hot and for that I can almost forgive her the whole Undead thing. Almost. I have to wonder what kind of mind can think up this kind of stuff. I mean, really, what is going on up there? Was she one of those weird kids who talked to themselves when they thought no one was looking? Does she spend her days obsessing about death and vampires? Or maybe she’s just some mom with an overactive imagination who desperately needs to get out of the house once in a while? Who knows? All I can say is I dig my happily ever after, even if she didn’t go the traditional route.
